Header Experience

I personally have minimal experience when it comes to designing webpages or editing images but the Pixlr editor site made it fairly simple. The main issue I encountered was trying to copy the image into my finder to then upload onto the website. After playing around with the editor it was easy to upload it. Editing the photos also took a little bit of time but again the website made it easy. Another issue I encountered was when I was trying to go back and forth between photos in the editor, one of the pictures got locked. I did not understand why I could not edit the photo but after looking around the tools and the site all that was needed was for me to click unlock and then I was free to edit the photos with ease.

In the crazy digital age we are in everybody posts photos and edits them. The only experience I have with editing photos is on Instagram. The extent of it is just putting on filters so it is interesting to learn how to really edit photos and combine pictures. With the new skill I can start adding photos together and editing them for fun.

When it came to finding a good image that could speak on what I wanted this website to be about I decided to use my first car and my current car. Since the photos in my header were my own cars I took the pictures so there is no copyright issues. My first car really pushed me into a whole other level of working on cars and learning about them. Since then I am still extremely interested in cars and with that I can continue to create content that interests me.

  1. Hi Hunter! I like the header you ended up creating for your website, as it goes along with the topic of your blog very well. I too had issues when it came to using Pixlr, as I had no prior experience with the website. I had to watch the tutorial about 5 times until I understood what I was doing Lol
